Getting there & tips
Best time: April and October–November are best—mild and dry. Late November brings Aiwan Pavilion's red maples. Avoid July–August's steamy peak heat; winter is cheap but damp and cold. · Humid subtropical: long, hot, muggy summers (35°C+), short, damp winters near freezing, frequent rain in spring and early summer.
